Corporate Expansion Positions Company to Meet Increased Opportunities in E- and M-Learning Markets
Columbia, MD, March 28, 2016 – Mosaic Learning, a leader in training and advanced technology solutions, today announced the completion of a six-month staff expansion and strategic alignment process. Coming off a record 2015, the additions to the Executive Team and staff meet the expanding customer demand for new approaches to leverage technology and improve learning outcomes.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our new team members and are excited for the adjustments to our infrastructure,” says Mosaic Learning President Mike deSimon. “We are positioned to deepen our commitment to provide advanced solutions in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, 360 3D Video and more; as well as our customer-centric experience clients have come to expect from our company.”
Mosaic Learning will continue to provide consultation, strategy and technology that enhance training experiences so that they are not just delivered, but retained. Founder Brendan Connors echoed deSimons’ comments: “Since the summer we have increased our overall staffing capabilities by 26%. These additions ensure that we have robust instructional design, multimedia and application development teams in place to respond quickly to our diverse customer demands.”
In addition, Lawrence Baird was appointed to Vice President of Operations where he will assume the responsibilities for the day-to-day operations of Mosaic Learning. Baird has over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and higher education. For the past 13 years, Baird worked with Laureate Education Inc. (formerly Sylvan Learning), where he held the position of Executive Director of Product Operations.
In an effort to ensure that Mosaic Learning can be positioned as close as possible to its customers, Michael Callanan, CEO of Mosaic Learning, will transition out of the CEO role to a new role as Strategic Client Advisor. In this capacity, Callanan will continue to work with the Mosaic Learning Executive Team to ensure that clients have a direct point-of-contact in the field to develop, implement and deliver enhanced learning solutions. Connors will assume the role of CEO, focusing on the strategic vision and bringing the team together to drive results.
Connors proudly stated: “Since our inception in 2005, we have been preparing for this moment. I have never been more excited about where we stand as an organization. All the pieces are in place for a tremendous future. We look forward to working with each and every one of our clients to design and develop learning solutions that meet their ever-changing needs.”
